Whether you became a U.S. citizen yesterday or were born a citizen 120 years ago, slavery is one of the original sins of this nation with which we must seriously deal. We have to seriously consider and use where appropriate … processes and tools of:
o regulated capitalism,
o socialism,
o affirmative action,
o reparations, and
o other local and federal governmental policy/laws/assistance
to move us toward ecological (PEACE) learning and appropriate infrastructure enabling sustainable livelihoods for those put in a cultural, socio-political, economic rut because of slavery (which in many ways still exists today).
