This (diversified) small hog farmer*/ag entomologist/wannabe “positively ethical applied community ecologist/PEACEmaker” believes there is generally groupthink across the globe because of a prevalence of de facto (neoliberal) capitalism, powerful transnational corporations spewing out effective negative (in terms of transition of Eaarth to a neo-Earth) propaganda**, and conspicuous consumerism including in our food systems … necessarily fueled by fossil energy and “matériel.”
Subsequently, all “democracies” are very flawed … obviously, some much more inherently, deeply, systemically, and/or functionally than others.
(*I.e., still to a considerable extent of that mindset.)
