And 72+ years of life experiences

With Mom and Dad and in family,
With siblings,
Grandma Martin, Uncle Peggy,
With children and grandchildren et al.
In village (school, church, neighbors, lovers, work);
In nature, on the Land, on The Farm;
In towns, cities, the military, government service;
With tribes, cultures, languages, traditions, rituals, foods, religions, customs, and taboos;
Differing ethnicities and sexualities, (and blends of such);
The rich, the Haves; the poor, the have-nots; …
My essence has become:
“Regeneration and conservation of
Resilient and sustainable ecological community”.
“Positively ethical applied community ecology”,
Etc., etc., etc.
That doesn’t mean
That I don’t enjoy communicating with others …
Family, friends, new friends, … anyone!!!

And Dad is going to try to talk with them!
He won’t stop with name, rank, and serial number.
He’ll try to speak a foreign language with them,
And probably ask who they voted for in 2016, …
And if they’ve ever sinned.

Or Jimmie Rodgers, Don Gibson, or Michael Salgado song! … …
