I’m hopeful
And will steadfastly act to elect a woman and progressive.
I will be obsessive
To help with a slate which can be Truthfully memorable.
It should be a piece of cake given this “president” who is a fake,
And a snake* we all know is on the take.
But I fear my dear
There is an abundance of those who are deplorable.
(*My apologies are sincere and fervent,
To a many and ecologically-good and earthly serpent.)
